2. Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data are processed when you visit this website or contact us, why the data are processed, who may receive them and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

The website is an artist portfolio. It does not currently offer user accounts, online purchases, bookings, payment processing or newsletter subscriptions.

3. Website Hosting and Technical Access Data

This website is created and hosted using the Wix.com platform.

When you access the website, Wix may process technical information necessary to deliver and protect the website. This may include:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it;

• date and time of access;

• pages and files requested;

• referring and exit pages;

• browser, device and operating-system information;

• screen and language settings;

• connection and session information;

• technical error, security and interaction data.

These data are processed to display the website, maintain its stability and security, prevent fraud and attacks, diagnose technical problems and ensure reliable operation.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional website pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Technical information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or to comply with legal obligations. The specific retention periods are determined by Wix according to the type of data and the operational or security purpose concerned.

4. Wix as Hosting and Platform Provider

Wix.com Ltd., 5 Yunitsman Street, Tel Aviv, Israel, provides the hosting and technical platform for this website and processes site-visitor data on our behalf.

Wix acts as a processor in relation to personal data processed on our instructions. The processing relationship is governed by Wix’s Data Processing Addendum. Personal data may be processed by Wix and its authorised sub-processors in Israel, the European Economic Area and other countries, including the United States.

 

Transfers to Israel are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision. Where personal data are transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, Wix states that it uses the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard permitted under Article 46 GDPR.

5. Contact Form and Email Enquiries

If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide. Depending on the content of your enquiry, this may include:

• your name;

• your email address;

• the subject and content of your message;

• any other information you voluntarily include.

The information is used solely to understand and respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss artworks, exhibitions, commissions or potential cooperation.

Where an enquiry concerns a possible purchase, commission or other contractual relationship, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other correspondence is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Contact-form submissions may be stored within Wix Forms, Wix Inbox or Wix’s associated customer-management functions. Our email provider may also process the information where the enquiry is forwarded or answered by email.

Enquiry data are normally deleted within six months after the enquiry has been conclusively handled. If an enquiry leads to a contract or if information is required for accounting, taxation, legal claims or another statutory purpose, it may be retained for the applicable statutory period. Providing information through the contact form is voluntary. Without a valid contact address and sufficient information about your enquiry, however, we may not be able to respond. Contact information will not be used for newsletters or promotional messages unless you have separately and expressly consented to such communication.

Wix classifies these cookies as essential to the operation and security of its platform. Their use is based on Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, insofar as storage or access is technically necessary, and on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where personal data are processed.

We do not intentionally use third-party advertising cookies, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable cross-site tracking tools.

If optional functional, analytics or marketing services are introduced in the future, they will be activated only after the visitor has provided active consent through the cookie banner. The legal bases would then be Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may reject optional cookies as easily as you accept them. Any consent given may be withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before consent was withdrawn. Browser settings can also be used to delete stored cookies. Blocking essential cookies may, however, prevent parts of the website from functioning correctly.

This website may contain ordinary links to external websites or social-media profiles. These services are not embedded in the website and are not loaded automatically.

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Subject to the applicable statutory requirements, you have the right to:

• obtain confirmation as to whether your personal data are being processed and receive access to those data;

• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;

• request deletion of your personal data;

• request restriction of processing;

• receive personal data you have provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format where the requirements for data portability are met;

• object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
